Three settings
worth checking.

Actual size

Choose “Actual size” or “Fit to page”, never “Scale to fit media” — that one crops the drawing at the edges without telling you.

100 gsm or more

Plain copier paper is fine for pencils. Markers need at least 100 gsm, ideally 120, or the colour comes through onto the next sheet.

No draft mode

Economy and draft settings thin the lines until alcohol markers escape through them. Print these at normal quality, black ink only.

/05 — About these sheets

Thanksgiving, slowly.

Thanksgiving sheets have one job that other coloring pages do not: they have to survive being handed to a mixed table of people, some of whom are eight and some of whom are eighty. That is why half of these are wide open scenes with big shapes and half are dense with small props — so the same stack works for everyone in the room.

The overhead table view is the one people reach for first. It is drawn as a full place setting per person, so a group can each take a corner of the same sheet, or you can print one each and compare afterwards. The cornucopia sheets are the opposite: one object, drawn in detail, good for an hour of quiet.

For colour, the reliable move is to pick the tablecloth first and let it decide everything else. A deep green cloth pushes the food warm. A cream one lets you go strong on the pumpkins. Keep the pie crusts pale — leave most of the pastry as paper with just a rim of colour — and they will look baked instead of burnt.

Print a stack the morning of, put them on the table with a tin of pencils, and the hour between the meal and the plates being cleared has something in it other than everyone reaching for a phone.

/06 — Questions

Asked often.

Will these work for a mixed-age table?

That is what they were chosen for. Some sheets are open and simple, others are dense with small detail, so the same stack suits a child and an adult.

Can I print thirty copies for a community meal?

The free sheets cover one group. Thirty copies inside one church hall, care home or classroom is exactly what the paid pack's licence allows.

Is there a turkey?

There is, wearing a hat, standing in the corn in the rain. It is not the sheet most people pick, but it is there.

What size do they print?

One US Letter page each at 300 dpi. A4 works with “Fit to page”.
