Anything from 120 gsm up stops markers bleeding through to the next sheet. Plain copy paper is fine for pencils.

Grayscale at normal quality. Draft mode leaves the outlines too faint to colour cleanly.
About this collection
These eight cozy Halloween coloring pages are made for grown-ups who like October more than they like being scared. There is no gore here and nothing jumps out at you — just friendly ghosts reading in armchairs, a witch's kitchen with something gentle bubbling away, and a pumpkin stall standing in the rain. Every sheet is drawn in the same hand and the same line weight, so a stack of them looks like one book rather than a folder of downloads.

The line is even and every shape closes, which matters more than it sounds. Coloured pencils sit nicely inside a clean outline, and alcohol markers will not leak through a gap you did not notice. Densities vary on purpose across the set — the black cat on the fence is open and quick, the witch's kitchen will take a whole evening. Pick by how much energy you have, not by which one looks prettiest in the thumbnail.
Each download is a single-page PDF at US Letter size, 300 dpi, with the drawing filling the sheet. On US Letter set the scaling to Actual size; on A4 choose Fit to page and it lands with a hair more margin, nothing gets cut. Anything from 120 gsm paper up will stop markers bleeding through; plain copy paper is fine for pencils. Grayscale at normal quality prints better than draft mode.

What size paper do I need?
Every free sheet is one page at US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). On A4 paper choose Fit to page and it prints fine — you just get a slightly wider margin. The paid pack ships both sizes as separate files.
Are these suitable for kids?
Nothing here is gory or frightening — friendly ghosts, cats and pumpkins. The detail level suits older children and adults; younger kids will find the open scenes like the black cat easier.
